How It Works
Step 1: Choose a Plan
Start by selecting the membership group that fits your needs. Consider your usage patterns, budget, and
the type of appliances you rely on most. Certain brands of appliances may require a higher tier protection
plan.
Step 2: Apply for coverage
Simply fill out the form and list the appliances you would like to protect, and we will confirm coverage
eligibility.
Step 3: Book a Service Call
Once you are protected, enjoy the benefits, if something goes wrong simply book a service call. We’ll
promptly dispatch a certified and insured technician to your home—often with same-day or next-day
availability across Toronto and the GTA.

Step 4: Repair & Save
Your plan includes free labour* and diagnostics, so there’s no charge for the
service visit itself. If a part is needed, you’ll receive a discount of up to 40% depending on your plan
level. We use high-quality, manufacturer-approved parts to ensure a quality repair.

What’s the difference between Group A and Group B plans?
Group A plans, starting at $29.99, cover a wide range of common household
appliances, including brands like Admiral, Amana, Frigidaire, LG, Samsung, Whirlpool, and many more,
making them ideal for most homes. Group B plans address higher-end appliances such as Bosch, Miele,
Sub-Zero, and Viking, which are more challenging to repair and have costlier parts, with pricing
adjusted accordingly. Both plans include free labor*, diagnostics, flexible monthly pricing with no
long-term commitment, and a 5% discount for annual payments.
What if I have appliances from both groups.
For households with a mix of appliances from both groups, we will create a
custom blended plan for you.
Are multiple appliances covered under one plan?
Yes your membership includes coverage for all major household appliances.
How often can I use my plan?
You can schedule a service call anytime your appliance is not working
properly throughout the year. Each visit includes free diagnostics and labour coverage*.
How do I know if my appliance qualifies for coverage?
If it’s a major appliance that we service, it qualifies. This includes
refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, stoves, ovens, microwaves, and range hoods from all major
brands. If you're unsure about your model, just contact us and we’ll confirm eligibility.
What is included in free labour* and diagnostics?
Every membership tier includes coverage of technician labour and diagnostic
assessments*. That means no service call fees, no hourly rates, and no surprises—just the cost of
discounted parts (if needed) based on your plan level.
Please note*: Some labour-intensive repairs are not covered under the free labour* policy and may incur
an additional charge. This includes washer spider/transmission replacements and fridge sealed system
repairs (such as compressor, evaporator, or condenser replacements). For gas appliances, additional
service fees may also apply.
Can I cancel or change my plan?
*Yes. All Green Star Appliance Protection Plans are flexible. You can
upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your membership at any time.
A single appliance repair can cost $300–$800 without a plan. With Green
